Easter Weekend

As usual, we had a busy holiday weekend at home. We were able to see grandparents, great-grandparents, cousins, and siblings, and we still didn't get to see everyone we needed to see. But we sure did have fun!

Nana and Gramps brought Piper downstairs Easter morning to see what the Easter bunny had brought her. She got very excited when she saw the big pink bouncy ball in her basket.

She also got a couple things for our upcoming beach trip: a new baithing suit and a little sand pail.

And the egg hunt was on!

At one point, she took all the eggs out of her basket and gave them to Josh. We thought that was funny.

At her second Easter dinner (I forgot to take pictures at the first one--bad, I know), Piper tried her first cob. She really enjoyed gnawing on it. She also ate--and enjoyed--asparagus and rhubarb salad this meal.

And then it was time for yet another egg hunt at Tam-Tam's house!

Tam-Tam stuffed Piper's eggs with baby cookies. She loved them!

Mamaw Sandra (one of Piper's great-grandmothers) took this awesome picture at the end of the day.
