Today was Piper's last regular day of preschool until next year (she will be participating in a summer program for six weeks, starting late next month). Her school had a little program for the parents. Once again, Piper was too busy looking in the audience to do the motions she was supposed to be doing with her classmates. She literally stood perfectly still asking "Where's mommy?" over and over again. Once I finally got her attention to show her I was there (thinking that if she saw me she'd start participating in the song), she started yelling "There's mommy!" and pointing for everyone to see. Oh well. She definitely doesn't get her anti-performance genes from me!
Here's Piper on the first day of school back in September. She still looks like a baby to me.
