Last night, Piper and I made cookies to share with her preschool class in celebration of her birthday. Her job was to roll the dough balls in sugared stars. She was much more interested in trying to eat the stars than using them to decorate her cookies :-).
Today I took the birthday girl and her cookies to preschool and got to stay for her first birthday celebration. It was so much fun to see her interact with her teachers and little friends. What's funny is that she doesn't quite know what to do with me in that environment. She wants to go and play but feels some pull to stay with me. It's clear that she's confused as to why I'm staying in her classroom.
