Hands On! Museum

Josh and I grew up going to the Hands On! Museum as kids.  I thought it would be fun to take Piper so she could explore some of the exhibits.  I think she really had a good time, and we will definitely go back again when she can enjoy even more of what the museum has to offer.

The finer points of the dam and locks system was lost on her, but she did enjoy playing with the boats.

Here she is showing Gramps how well she can brush her teeth.

The ark is a really neat exhibit, but Piper was a little weirded out by it.

One of my all-time favorite exhibits is the store.  Piper enjoyed shopping, especially for plums.

Proof that Graham was there, too

It's hard to tell here, but this is Piper in the small-engine plane that is on display.  She really liked being able to be inside it and still talks about "driving the plane."

But her favorite of all the exhibits was the tractor.  She would climb on it, drive, and climb back down...over and over.  And she made sure every one of us rode the tractor with her :-).

checking out the snake

big bubbles!

And this little boat proved to be lots of fun, too!

She insisted that Nana ride with her.

And even Gramps took a spin with Piper at the wheel.

Sweet snuggles back at the house
