We have a sitter! Piper can now sit unassisted as long as she keeps relatively still or until something very exciting comes into view and she lunges for it. She's become much more stable over just the past few days, but I'm not yet comfortable allowing her to sit like this out of arm's reach. Case in point, she has her first knot on her head from falling over sideways while trying to catch McKenna as she walked past.
This promises to be an eventful week for us. On Wednesday Piper has her six month doctor's appointment. Stay tuned for her updated stats. Then on Thursday, I'm going to attempt my first long trip with her by myself. We'll be visiting baby Cameron Brownlee in Knoxville and some of my old collegues from Oak Ridge. Hopefully it won't take us 6 hours to get there!
