Our weekend

Josh and I spent our weekend chasing down this (sorry the picture's crooked):
This picture is of $120 of organic baby food for which we paid about $14. Publix was running a By One Get One Free sale on the food, and then I realized that there was a manufacturer's coupon that was also BOGO. That was great enough in itself, and then I realized that Publix was doubling the coupon! Here's how they rang up: first packet was 50 cents, second packet was 50 cents (they are normally $1 each), coupon deducts 50 cents, doubled coupon deducts 50 more cents=free! Actually, I had to pay tax. When I bought 10 at a time, I paid 20 cents total. It took two days of BOGO before one of the nice clerks told me about the coupons. That's the only reason I spent as much money as I did. Josh and I made multiple trips to multiple stores to get the coupons and the food. What we spent in gas we more than made up for in savings on the food. These portable packets will be good for when we're traveling and can't take the frozen food that I have prepared. I feel so thrifty!
