This weekend we played host to Brenden, Sarah Beth, Ian, and Jason. The boys went to a hockey game Saturday night, and we were able to visit with them the rest of the time they were here. Thankfully, the weather was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Friday night we had burgers on the back porch, and then Piper and Ian played inside when it got dark. Saturday we ate outside at the famous Loveless Cafe. Piper even got a bit of a sunburn! Sunday after church we had a fun Easter egg hunt. We loved having them here!
And this sweet boy was dedicated to the Lord during our Palm Sunday church service. Unlike his sister, he didn't scream through the entire dedication. Piper was funny up on stage with us today; she kept asking to go see the water (baptismal font). I don't have any pictures of the ceremony yet (or of the Easter egg hunt), but I know that a friend took some pictures and even video, so I will share those later.
