Spring Break!

The week before Easter was Piper's spring break from Mother's Day Out.  It was also spring break for all my teacher friends in Williamson County, so we were able to get together with lots of them.  We ended up having at least one playmate/social activity every day!

On Monday, we met Maddie and her mother at the park to play.  Maddie's mom, Anna, teaches English at my old school.  When I turned down the offer to come back to work last year, they hired Anna.  I joke that she is forever indebted to me :-).  Piper is three weeks older than Maddie, and Maddie is getting a little brother this fall!

We have had such amazing weather for April.  Piper and Graham both had to wear hats outside because I hadn't yet stocked up on sunscreen.

On Tuesday, Baker and his momma, Charlotte, came over to visit.  The kids exchanged birthday presents and then fought over said birthday presents, in true two-year-old fashion.

The doctor set was a huge hit during this playdate.  I'm not sure I'm ready for Piper to be playing doctor with anyone yet!
On Wednesday, we met Lilly, her momma Jenny, and little brother Cam (three weeks old!) at the zoo for the morning.  This was the only picture I got because we had our hands more than full with 2 two-year olds and two infants.
Piper loves the "flingos".

This picture has nothing to do with anything really.  But it was taken during this week, and I think it's cute :-).
Thursday we met Meg, Mary Clark, and momma Ashley for lunch in Franklin.  This was the scene when we arrived at the restaurant.  I hated to wake them!  I don't have any pictures of our lunch date because there were four kids under age three who were taking up all of our energy.

And on our way home on Friday, we stopped to see Derek and Anna, our dear friends in Knoxville.  Cameron, who is four months younger than Piper, woke up from his nap, and Piper immediately started calling him "baby Cameron".  We thought this was hilarious seeing as he is probably two inches taller than she is!

It was a busy week, but we had so much fun seeing friends we don't normally get to visit with!
