Animals!

This has been a busy week for us!  I've already posted pictures from the aquarium trip on Sunday, but Piper got to see even more animals--at the Nashville Zoo and a travelling petting zoo that visited her preschool. 

The first set of pictures is from our trip to the zoo.  We went with my friend Ashley and her girls, Mary Clark and Meg.

And here they are at our trip to the zoo in 2010--almost exactly a year ago.  My, how they've changed!

Aside from the petting zoo, Piper's favorite part was the koi pond.  I think she would have jumped in with the fish if she could have found a way.

This sweet expression was achieved on our train ride at the zoo.  Piper is really into "choo-choos" these days!

 And today, a traveling petting zoo visited Piper's school.  While uploading my pictures, I realized I didn't get a single shot of all the animals--oops.  I was a little focused on watching Piper's reaction to each of them!

 The zookeeper brought three snakes (I only have pictures of two), and Piper was fascinated with them, just like she was at the aquarium.  She definitely doesn't get that from me.
