This past Monday, Piper and I joined several of my teacher friends and their children at a pumpkin farm in Williamson County. There were so many activities for the kids including a tractor ride (otherwise known as a hay-less hay ride), animals to see, a barn with lots of playthings inside, a miniature log cabin, wheat and corn troughs, and a corn maze. Piper loved every second of it and played so hard that she was asleep within 2 minutes of leaving. I think we're taking Daddy back this weekend, so I will probably post more pictures!
Running to catch up with her friends
Checking out the inside of the minature log cabin
Sweeping the porch with Mary Clark
She loved this little broom!
Playing a little cornhole
Pointing to and mooing at a mama cow and her twin calves
Eagerly awaiting our turn on the tractor ride
You can't really tel here, but Piper was tracing the wheel on the sign with her hand.
Trying to build with Lincoln Logs inside the barn
Playing with miniature farm animals and equipment in the barn
To say she liked the corn bins would be a HUGE understatement. I think we stayed here for about an hour, just pouring and pouring.
Now THAT'S a look of concentration
All the kiddos minus the youngest who wouldn't let go of his mommy
Patting a pumpkin
